The seed for Indifference was planted in 2018 during the planning of a 25th anniversary tribute show for Pearl Jam's sophomore album Vs. at Cobra in Nashville. Two of the organizers, Ben Bracey and Joseph Jared had so much fun that they decided to continue on as a Pearl Jam tribute band, Indifference.
There have been a few lineup changes over the years (Ben moved back to NY, life happens, etc.), but our current lineup of Patton Hughes (vox), Joseph Jared (rhythm guitar), Ryan Noormohamed (lead guitar), Joe West (drums), and Andy Wortman (bass) have been playing together since 2021.
Since forming in 2018, we've had nothing but a good time playing shows in and around Middle TN, and we look forward to future gigs in the Southeastern US. The last few years have been an especially fun ride for us-- In Sept, 2022 we were honored by the invitation to play a show for Pearl Jam's fan-run charity, The Wishlist Foundation, then in Feb of 2023 our fellow PJ-superfan, comrade, & singer/songwriter extraordinaire Lilly Hiatt joined us onstage for a Yield Anniversary Show, and in Aug of 2023 we had the privilege of living out every rock-'n'-roller's dream of being broadcast live on the radio for Lightning 100's Nashville Sunday Night at 3rd & Lindsley (Big thanks to Foo Fighters Tribute - Fingernails Are Pretty for asking us along).
If you're in the Middle TN and Nashville area, please keep an eye out for our Pearl Jam Album Anniversary Shows! So far we've played Ten, Vs., Vitalogy, No Code, Yield, and Riot Act in their entirety. These shows are a blast, and they feature loads of guest singers & musicians from Nashville's local music scene!
